The venue’s unique setting within a historic Victorian malt store adds a charming and cozy atmosphere enhanced by tasteful decor. Guests appreciate the well-prepared, classic pub fare, with particular praise for their breakfasts and quality coffee. The extensive beer selection complements the dining experience, reflecting its brewery heritage. Some feedback suggests a desire for more gluten-free options, especially baked goods at coffee time. While the space is generally inviting, quieter periods can lead to a subdued atmosphere. Overall, The Brewery Tap is regarded as a pleasant and authentic spot for both casual meals and social gatherings.
Had a breakfast here Saturday 26th October. Very welcoming staff, happy to host our dog and great place to bring him as plenty of room and far enough from other guest as not crammed next to other tables. Nice food and great coffee, lovely setting.
I only recently found out that this 250 year old family brewery had opened an on-site tap room / pub, so just had to visit. On the outskirts of the main town, this is a fascinating establishment built within the original Victorian malt store, and is packed with memories of the brewery in the past. As you'd expect, the beer range is excellent, and food looked good too - pretty much regular pub dishes, but reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful, though on my visit service was a bit erratic, basically because new staff were being trained "on the job" that day. There's easy parking on site, or it's just a few minutes walk from Blandford town centre. Well recommended.
I really enjoyed the gluten free breakfast bun. Thank you. Planning to return! It would be great if you could also have a selection of gluten free cakes available at coffee time. Two for one breakfast was good!
A lovely well cooked non greasy fry up with a banging cup of tea! Staff are lovely. The only reason it lacked atmosphere was possibly due to me and one other couple being the only ones there!
Met with my website developer, they suggested meeting at the Brewery Tap. I've never been here before but was pleasantly surprised I'm walking in. Very pleasant atmosphere, I love the decor and the warehouse feel. Felt comfortable from the moment I got there. Founder cosy sofa in the corner. The staff are really friendly. I enjoyed a nice breakfast bar with a coffee. That also appeared to be a really good lunch menu. Highly recommend, great history behind the building. Friendly and inviting.
Quirky little bar in a lovely old part of a warehouse. Exposed brick, old metalwork with Badger and Hall & Woodhouse memorabilia, next to the shop. Fresh beers on tap from straight across the yard, but surprisingly seem to be the same price as they are at The Crown. Great venue for functions and events, breakfast is amazing too
Lovely place, full of character. Food was delicious, friendly staff. Unfortunately the soda taps weren't working when we went. Not cheap but good quality pie and mash.
